I seen this picture of Beyoncé in Instyle
mag where she has this pretty orange bralet top and green pencil skirt. That picture inspired my outfit for the day. Her whole outfit was nice and I like how bright the colors were, but I really liked her crop top. I love crop tops, I like how they come in different variations like a crop tee or bralet type top. I actually own a couple and of course you seen the one I wore to HBG fashion show. I think they look best with high waisted bottoms. I wore my top with my white bandage skirt from Express and to cover up my arms that I am not fond of, I threw on one of my kimonos.

Kimonos are so easy to wear and you can throw them on top of everything, just like a blazer! I will eventually buy one that goes with everything, like a crochet one. Also on my last picture I had to take a flick next to this wall that was in uptown Harrisburg, I thought it was so neat!!! Have pride!!!!
Caftans can be very versatile. You can wear them as a dress(depending on length), a tunic, or as a cover up. I have seen many that I wanted but today in Old Navy one really caught my eye. It has festive colored embroidery with the top being made of gauze material. There are many things I want to pair it with and I definitely want to get some matching espadrilles. Also in Old Navy they had this really pretty necklace that could of went with the caftan. It had the same colors and had a tribal feel, I wish I could of took a picture to post with it. I could of got it but honestly I do not think Old Navy’s jewlery is worth it’s price. I can go to forever21 and get better quality.

Finally its really warming up in PA and every chance I get I wear something new. Today was my tribal print romper which I wish I had some black and white print heels to go with it…or knee high gladiator shoes. Oh and some braids to really set off the outfit.

Oh and I’ve been tired so I didn’t take good pics today.
So Harrisburg has a fashion week now? Which I am actually happy about because designers from the area can really show case their talent and some fashionistas can show their style. So this past Saturday I went uptown to the Zembo Shrine to see the fashion show. But sad to say only a handful of people came dressed to kill and some of the designers work could of been better. I’m not going to down someone else’s work, I just think some of them should of put more effort into their work and I think it would of came out better. The last collection though was phenomal!!! I can really say when I was watching those models come down the runway I felt like I was at NYFW. A designer from the islands flew here to show his collection and it was VERY NICE. I would really buy some of his pieces because he did one heck of a job on his clothes and if he is really pursuing designing he would make it. Anyways, I wore one of my best outfits that I never wore and I can say I looked really nice in the outfit.

Maybe next year I can put a collection in the show…
So I was on Asos website and i seen this really cute pom pom headband that I knew was just right for me. It is cute and odd which I like and instantly I thought of an outfit I seen on instagram that it would go with.
Yaris Sanchez isn’t a style icon but I do think some of her outfits are cute. This outfit to me has a 90s feel and thought it went right with the headband. I don’t know but I feel like I would of seen an outfit like this in Clueless or some other 90s movie. Here are some items that I think would look cute with this accessory and inspired by Yaris Sanchez.
White crop top from Topshop
Jeffrey Campbell Freema shoe
I couldn’t find a pink fuzzy purse picture to go with this outfit because I thought that would of completed the outfit. Other than that I really want thay headband.
Tropical flower peplum shirt from Express
Green capri pants New York and company
Two tone brogues Aldo
Jean jacket wetseal
Statement Necklace J Crew
Cat eye sunglasses Kate Spade
It’s spring and I’m ready to bust out in multiple colors and wear my sandals, dresses, shorts and skirts. My peplum top is something I definitely have been waiting to wear. The colors to me scream spring and i love how bright they are. I paired them with my green pants to bring the colors out of the shirt. The rest of my accessories match the shirt as well. Oh and i’m back to my blonde hair again! This is definitely my color for the summer, I love how it brings the yellow undertones of my skin out and makes me look golden.
