How to wear Thigh-high socks

If you seen my post from yesterday you realized I wore my thigh-high socks. One of my friends recently asked me how to wear them, I sent her a long list of what to wear them with. I love the look of thigh-highs, and like to see how different people wear them(like on clueless or sex and the city!). Oh I love in the beginning of clueless and Cher and Dion are going to school and they have their high socks on!!! : ) Anyways, I could never find a pair that fit my legs until now…THANK GOD. These lovely socks are from American Apparel and come in different colors. They have more than this kind too, if you did not know American Apparel sells basics. They are a really good go-to store when you need something simple. Here are my three looks for how I would dress them up:

You can wear them with boots too, of course yesterday I wore them with my combat boots. They go great with knee-high boots or booties. I was thinking about wearing them with my jeffrey campbell boots. I think different size people can wear thigh-highs. As long as you make yourself look elongated you should be fine. Like my body type and me being 5’1 I shouldn’t wear thigh highs with flats. I should mainly wear them with heels so I do not look short and stalky. Also thigh highs look great with dresses, skirts and shorts. To have a school look wear them with a blazer, button-up, bow-tie, and plaid shorts. Add cute “cat” flats (the flats with the cat face) for a quirky look.
